I was honored to photograph this event for another photographer, Sheri Kendrick, who graciously started this charity called Little Light of Mine. Sheri is not only an amazing photographer herself but a lady with a heart the size of Texas. Little Light of Mine is a service that you hope you'll never use but one that is deeply appreciated and cherished should you find yourself wrapped in its arms through the hardest life circumstances. The images are warm and soulful with a deep respect for family intimacy and the fragility of life.
It was so nice to see the friendly faces at the event (volunteers & patrons) and hear the testimonials of the families this charity has touched. It is my sincere hope that I captured its warmth justly and that viewers enjoy these images.
